    saami=lapplanders...the indigenous people of northern scandinavia...reindeer herders...have some weird folk music...

    someone on here and i were talking about them. i thought that if it was you, there might even be a hint of truth to your latvian folk dance fixation...

    check out saami traditional yoiking (sort of a cross between throat singing and native american chanting). it's really weird.
