PATRIK SKOOG LIVE @ EXPERIENCE (recorded 17-01-2004)

    BIOGRAPHY:

Born Malmoe Sweden 1980, Patrik Skoog have been producing music with various projects since around 15 years of age. Originally influenced by early electro and EBM acts, but slipped into the techno / acid scene after a few years. The production efforts started to shape into something real when Headroom was formed together with N. Ehrlin and H. Larsson in early ´97. The music now was more directed to the swedish sound with inspiration from Stockholm techno labels. An own style was to be formed in this realm of compressed minimalism and in 1998 their first record was released on the Swedish imprint Loop records, and ever since releases have followed on different labels like malmoe based Evil Deception, the Planet Rhythm uk labels, Shokoy, and more. Just to get as much done out of productions as possible, Patrik started a project aside from Headroom, a bit more to the dark tribal side than the original productions. And after doing some work for German and American labels he started to run Native Diffusion records which will focus mainly on his own productions, but also showcase remixes of other acknowledged techno artists. Also works DJ-ing around the globe with gigs in the UK, USA and Europe.

    Wicked set!
