Graphics tablets

Hi peepz.

ive order one of these to see if it will be useful in controlling ableton. im informed that it functions like a mouse, so im hoping when i've got used to it i can go flying around the screen a bit quicker.

what do you think?

if ur gonna do that why not buy a tablet pc with a touch screen??? surely thatd be easier??

graphic tablets are real nice
ive had one and it is really faster than the mouse
u move the pen over the tablet and it works just like a mouse, push the tip of the pen on the tablet and u click
but i dont know how accurate & useful would it be in ableton...
they are pretty cheap lately,u can get a nice genius tablet for 30-40e

well, Ill let you all know about it when it comes. for 20squids i thought i'd chance me arm...

specially seen as the mouse tends to play havok with my arm and wrist sometimes. plus it probably looks cooler. and im as vain as ****.
