most soundcards now offer control pannels that let you record the output too.
why's it crap exactly p?
if you want to record the output in soundforge without going through your soundcard - this seems like a great option. :?:
unless they've changed the lay out of the program (last time i used it was about 2 years back)
most pro sound cards i've seen have an option to record your output without a feed back loop...
if you don't have that option, then i guess you have no choise but to do this.
but you can do this easy in cubase sx or reason or reaktor without needing this confusingly layed out tool

i can see what you're saying m8 but this is needed for a good friend's laptop who hasn't got a pro soundcard. it's for a specific purpose and cubase/reason/reactor.. etc are not involved.
