I personally like the 1999 Engergy Rush - Helter Skelter of Mark Eg and M-Zone b2b.

without a shadow of a doubt the best tape i have of mark is when he was supposed to be playing b2b with chocci at helter skelter back in 1999 the first side of the tape is full on in ya face techno and the second side builds into a hardtrance frenzy, with a lot of tunes which have turned out to be classics (to refresh people's memories its the tape with that tune at the end) the sound of today is leaving to another centuary, the centuary of the future.........

mark eg tape from hardcore heaven mid summer nights dream (around 96ish)
mark eg tape from north 12
mark eg technodrome tape from helter skelter timeless 98
mark eg from energy 97 "carnival of dance
mark eg from deathrow techno heaven
chocci & mark eg b2b helter skelter lost in music 99
mark eg technodrome set at helter skelter voyager 96
mark eg technodrome set at helter skelter outer limits 98
these are some of the standout tapes, was always more of a fan of marks technodrome sets than his b2b`s with m.zone....although i was a big fan of m.zone aswell.
talking about strings of life...the hms tape from that is very very very very good!!! hardest speedcore sh*t you ever gonna hear!

My top 5!
1)Skelter - Strings of life - June 97.
2)Vibealite Xmas party - Dec 96.
3) Human Nature Skelter B2B with M-Zone - classic trance mixed up with 98 edms and spaceflowers -June 98. Excellent, showed the happy heads how its done in the rollers!
4)Dreamscape 29 - July 98. The whole techno room going mad at 6.55am - superb memories
5)Outer limits - Skelter 99 - Mc Ribbz 'before you start asking me the same question, i dont know where chocci is alright, but we dont need him cos weve got mark eg' hahaha
ps techfunk - is there any chance you can sort us a copy of these 2 sets
1 mark eg technodrome set at helter skelter voyager 96
2 mark eg from deathrow techno heaven
heard there sh1t hot and i dont know anyone with copies!

Yeah definately Mark EG Technodrome set when Chocki never showed. Still have that tape in my car amazing set and probably my favoutite Helter Skelter's along with the one after Night Life.
They have to bring back those helter skelter nights with the Rollers Arena- Happy Days!!!

Hey wow, like this post! I've never heard any of these tapes.. Weird but no-one ever gives me any bloody copies. Now I know which ones to try to get (if I eventually get round to it!!!!)

matt i can do you a copy of the deathrow techno heaven tape no probs, will have to look for the skelter one as i think it is in my mates.

The best set I have ever heard Mark play was at North's 3rd B-day
But the tape wasnt in the pack, it was a techno set from another night!!

My favorite tape is Mark B2b with M-Zone At Helter Skelter "Human Nature" as Matt has already said.
But the one I enjoyed the most was at Helter Skelter & Compulsion. b2b with M-Zone again (Mark EG and MZone experience) just remember being at the front an stomping as hard as possible while holding onto the barracade thing so i didnt fly into anyone or over it!
An I caught a free "ATARI ST MAGAZINE COVER DISK" off him, WOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
ye could of signed it at least mate, luckily ive got an atari st!!!
