Junglist is always a good one to use, also absynth is good but you really need to know what you doing with it as its hard as hell.

Fm7 and Pro-52(native instruments) are pretty good for bass. I like the Waldorf PPG the most for basslines, it's awesome. You can also use the ts-404 and just eq it right.
