Default Echoes EP: “Motionless”/”Transfusion” - High Fish 002

    Echoes EP

    “Motionless”/”Transfusion”

    High Fish Recordings 002

The High Fish team is ecstatic to welcome our newest member, Echoes. A production team combining the talents of Paul Nisbet and his mystery engineer, these two are ready to take the world by storm!

Paul, hailing from the highlands of Edinburgh, Scotland, has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. Playing some of the biggest clubs in the UK he’s now turned his hand to production. His engineer, who has chosen to keep his identity hidden, is a household name for many within the scene. With countless releases and invaluable experience, his production skills ooze quality as shown with this release.

The a-side, Motionless, instantly caught the attention of the A+R team at High Fish. Its intricate structure, careful sequencing and high octane ‘European’ sound makes it a must for all the modern day hard trance DJ’s out there. The hard kicks and sweeping bass lines combine with rolling percussion to give off quite a groove! Layered up with the most profound of melodies, this is hard trance at its best.

On the flip is one of the team’s earlier productions, Transfusion, with remix duties being handed to High Fish supremo’s ‘The Elite’. The guys are well known for their diverse, cutting edge sound, and this remix is no exception. The composition entails slightly more mainstream appeal that the a-side, whilst still keeping the underground sound which High Fish is known for.

This is a must buy for all those seeking some slightly more subversive beats.
