you are so right.... brain stuff is amazing - check the audio hard trance mix of mine from Feb i've put on the main site. I think you'll like the first 2 tracks :=]

brain 37 is just out... it's amazing.

i love playing this stuff.. i just need more of it, more consistently to make a set of it. like 30 times more than we're getting at the mo! a sound always becomes popular within a genre when there's alot of it being produced because ppl can make sets of it. that's why the italian stuff is popular with alot of the hard trance underground at the mo. but hey, this is going to get hammered and i think soon ppl will go even deeper. i agree, germany will be the ones. and i think underground labels like brain will be the future...

Gotta agree with yous two there.... I love the "Brain" label and have been collecting em since 97 when I opened up my record shop. There's always a good buzz when I get a new one in the shop and the reason? Because they've stuck to their guns; they don't sign tracks from other labels (look what's happened to Tracid recently); and they nearly always deliver- You're guaranteed some stomach-churning acid which I feel is often lacking in a lot of hardtrance releases. I know a lot of people are bored with the 303, but to me, it's one of the few instruments/sounds I will NEVER tire of (SCREECH, SCREECH, SCREECH;-) There's always new frequencies and patterns on Brain so as long as they keep exploring the acid, I'll keep playing em. Brings me onto the question:- why aren't other labels making acid trance anymore? There used to be quite a few (admittedly of the faster, more UK sounding side):- V.C.F., V.C.R., EPHEDRINE ON ACID, CHOCI's CHEWNS, etc.... even the mighty Stay Up Forever are resorting to releasing old tracks (just read Mark's reviews and they're releasing "Serious Mind @#%$" which I've had for over 3 years!). I know I'm not the only acid devotee out there, so I reckon there's a gap in the market. What do you think Mark? Time to get out yer 303 me thinks.
