Liverpool are now considered to be the best supported British club across the world, according to a leading sports consultants company.
A report published today by German-based Sport+Markt AG has revealed that following the recent Champion League success our worldwide fan base has increased by 10 million.
It goes on to say that we can now boast 18 million supporters across the world, a figure bettered only by Real Madrid (32 million) and Barcelona (23 million) in Europe.
Spokesman Oliver Butler says: "The huge increase in the number of Liverpool fans showed how influential success can be in the size of support. The size of the increase would also point to a high level of latent support which had gone underground due to a recent lack of success."

I don't see how they can possibly work that out, it's not based on shirt sales I'm sure, or even TV viewing figures since there's hardly been anything to wach since they won the CL. I might have beleived it if those Chelsea ****ers weren't in the top 9!

utd are the biggist fan based team from the uk KNOWN FACT and thats bcoz of mr beckham we hold the biggist ground capp and are even goin 8,000 bigger and turn away 11,000 a game FACT

hahaha dan thats total bollox , we fill the ground every game how can u say that , every game is sold out!!!! we have even had record sales in season tickets this year y do u think we are expanding the ground ?? we wont more ppl in etc ...

In Spain Liverpool are well supported and are well covered on their Television Sports Programmes due to their Spanish players they now have.
