True, I`ve had promo`s sold at various shops, I`d already factored promo`s into my budget, and they are product that I give away not expecting any return other than buzz and sales hype. So for them to get sold on to a DJ who then proudly plays his promo to others who haven`t got the proper release, and therefore generating a buzz, is a worthy price to pay for the sake of the 2 quid I lose out on.

Plus it means the shop selling em gets a few more quid to keep em running, and I`d rather loose a few quid to promo`s from one shop, than the whole shop going down, and me not selling any further vinyl at that outlet.

I`ve seen copies of DB001 1st pressing (the ones with proper labels) go on ebay for 60 quid (mainly down to sasha caining it). I didn`t ask the ebay sellers for any of that money, which I think is the same as promo`s getting sold.
It still generated massive buzz, and refllected in the sales of the represses.

Really there are far more important problems within this industry to get seriously agg about.
