People that are buying mp3s aren't damaging anything, people who are stealing them may be, but at the end of the day it's advances in technology that are changing the face of music distribution rather than the actions of consumers.

but this is all personal preference, there's not stopping economic drive and product development, and fact is, its the year 2005, its possible to buy music purely in a digital format and it is now seemingly popular... there have been medium battles for years, vinyl vs 8 tracks, cassette vs vinyl, cassette vs CD, video vs DVD

if there's a market for something then thats all people need.... some people dont get that feeling that some of us do from new records coming in the post, and the feeling of a brand new, never spun before record in your hands...

haha im ok, were not disagreeing, i can tell you've just got a great love for vinyl and it is sad to see it being laid to rest etc etc and especially with busines's closing down such as Tune Inn, but its something that cant be stopped, alot of people actually prefer downloading tracks, both legally and illegally, than forking out for vinyl

your very right but I just cant see myself mixing with any thing other than vinyl, its wierd cos Im never usually afraid of change I think its a very good thing 99.9% of the time , but not in this case for some reason mp3`s dont seem to have the same appeal
