I have nothing against bootlegs either, and have a fair few knocking around my collection, especially old skool hardcore stuff. My point was merely as this is clearly a bootleg it should be going for no more than £10. If this has come out recently then there will be loads floating about for dirt cheap soon anyway, so why try to rip off the first few punters that want one? (not saying this is or isnt anything to do with you McHardy - if you just have a couple of copies and trying to make a few bucks fair play)
Minimum pressing is usually 100, so there must be a few flying around, and even at £10 each thats £1k, you could but the originals and master them + press em for £500-£600 (cheaper if you already owned the tunes). i dont think originals of 4 quality tunes and £400 is bad work especially if you are doing it for "the love of the music".
If you genuinely want people to get their hands on these cheap then sell em cheap, thats my point. And i'm sure the artists would prefer to get some cash out of their tunes as well as have them played out everywhere, not have proceeds from their tunes lining other peoples pockets.
