I'd like to see a unit with two cue mixes, one for headphone jack. That way when you're doing a 2x4 tag set both dj's can keep their cans on and hear what they need to.

better off just with 2 mixers imo

Yeah, but then one always has to be slave, and then you get all sorts of problems.

Nothing you can't get around... just that it doesn't offer the flexibility that the kind of system I'm conceptualising in my head would.
