Do you remember playing Nosebleed in Rosyth? What did you think?
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... amazing place..
i really miss rosyth.
i think scotland has really gone downhill re: underground music.
what the hell has happened?!?!!!?????????????????
I remember seeing you play at the Rezerection in Feb 1995.
Scotland use to have a great music scene in the early and mid ninetys.
The trouble with Scotland (And Glasgow In Particular) is that people are afriad to like something which is different or something which their mates think is shit!. They won't buy a tune unless Jules/Fergie/Other Big Name Bandwagon Jumping Dj plays it.
The majority of people who go to big nights up here have no interest in the music at all. All they seem to be interested in is getting ****ed out their face on Pills & Coke.
Quite Frankly it pisses me off!.
Rant over.
Will
fair enough. but then surely it's up to ppl to do something about it.
where have all the underground heads gone?????????????????
going off the subject slightly nottingham is well avin it these dayz!! :D
Pressure at the Arches. Just as f**ked up as it has always been.
Visions at Rosyth was one of the best clubs for atmosphere and music a while back. We used to make the 3 hour journey most weeks for Nosebleed and later on for North.Originally Posted by MARK EG
For a while there wasn't much, but as RC says Pressure's still doing it after all these years.
Underground wise Twisted and Brainfire do the occasional nights in Glasgow of pounding hardcore & techno, and Substorm do underground house and techno nights in the city centre once a month.
Exactly. A couple of my mates have been getting details for a venue and we're going to try and sort out a decent hard dance monthly. I think they might have already tried to get a price from you for the opening night Mark :DOriginally Posted by MARK EG
