It is still a rip off bootleg though mate isnt it? So you should be selling it for £10 and making a couple of quid, not trying to skank everyone for top dollar

To be fair, it will cost more than that to make a 2 sided vinyl i would think?

i didnt quite understand the posts earlier about, "if it aint on the label then i aint interested" (or words to that effect) If it plays ok and sounds ok then whats wrong with it? Like u say Bread, it aint there to be looked at.

And i second ur "big up" to Al  if i had the money i would buy it, or even press them myself  i mean i've got the tunes i would need on mp3

I'll just keep searchin that ebay for my bargains.

RITE, OK feel bad bout releasing other peoples work. but i aint lookin for big wonga off these. got few on ebay at the mo, but i hope they dont go for stupid prices honestly. im sure the artists would be happy that there tunes are gettin serious plays again!!!

the pure reason is to give the people who DESERVE these bits a chance to get there hands on these tunes without paying stupid prices for em.

Im gona put a "Buy Now" price of £30 on Ebay in next few weeks.

who the **** can argue with that for these 4 tunes?

    NUFF SAID.

I have nothing against bootlegs either, and have a fair few knocking around my collection, especially old skool hardcore stuff. My point was merely as this is clearly a bootleg it should be going for no more than £10. If this has come out recently then there will be loads floating about for dirt cheap soon anyway, so why try to rip off the first few punters that want one? (not saying this is or isnt anything to do with you McHardy - if you just have a couple of copies and trying to make a few bucks fair play)

Minimum pressing is usually 100, so there must be a few flying around, and even at £10 each thats £1k, you could but the originals and master them + press em for £500-£600 (cheaper if you already owned the tunes). i dont think originals of 4 quality tunes and £400 is bad work especially if you are doing it for "the love of the music".

If you genuinely want people to get their hands on these cheap then sell em cheap, thats my point. And i'm sure the artists would prefer to get some cash out of their tunes as well as have them played out everywhere, not have proceeds from their tunes lining other peoples pockets.

    Well said Iain.

And another thing, these are all rare tunes, so u would probably still be saving on this rather than having to buy each one seperately. Also if the original artists or label bosses were that worried, why wouldn't they re-release them anyway? mmmmmm..if only!

???Eh?? You lot are mental. Thats my exact point that it clearly IS for money otherwise they would be going for £10 each!!!!!!

I know plenty of people who press their tunes on short runs of 100 and sell em for £8 and make money out of it, so £30, go figure!

Fair enough...if can afford to run off 100 copies!!

i reckon it would cost you about £50 for a two sided vinyl press...if you got a discount for doin 4 or 5 for instance, then it'd probly work out about £25-30 per vinyl

not too much cash would be gettin made by Al..eh, ah mean the person pressing them! ;)
