    rage

    shall i go on?

    lots more can be added.

yes this is a oldskool idex bit but what is wrong with todays hardtrance? Im no expert on new stuff but when i say i love hardtrance alot of people laugh. And then i have to explain from 94 to 98(99)

any one else think my points valued? if not then maybe its me and my tatse. But after 2000 there is only one tune that i can say i actually like(hardtrance of course) and thats folie a deux.
anyone noticed how weird that safe bloke with the fat hands (moogz) is?

i agree with you mate, it feels more shallow these days.

in my opinion 1995-2001 was the best time for trance music and during that time it was a really credible and exciting part of electronic dance music as a whole.

nowadays theres only the odd peice of trance music i come across that makes me stop and listen and its usually from the more deeper tracks, not this cheap anthematic rubbish that crops up a lot.

hard trance used to be deep, it wasnt all about the word hard, it was harder then progressive trance but with equal time given to making it have substance.

when i look back at all the brilliant music that the scene generated back then it makes me sad at what comes from it now.

i really belive that the way forward requires some steps back, its like we were building up to something magnificent than all of a sudden people took a wrong turn and for these next 5 years weve been lost, we never reached the next level we were looking for but for some reason people didnt think itd be a good idea to backtrack and try again.

id absolutly love the old thinking to come back behind trance music

yeah old trance seems to be better, it has more atmosphere to it, i still pick up bits and bobs these days but, its getting fewer and fewer! i tend to search for classics more, and picked up a copy of russenmafia - go! the other day which is a beast!!

Agree with you both 100% I bought the first Resonanse CD 3 years ago after reading on the cover, "THE BRUTAL SOUND OF HARD TRANCE"
Do us a favour, I'm fed up of hearing Hard this hard that when all it refers to is shit music that is speeded up a bit.
As far as I'm concerned, that was never what the old skool hard trance was a bout.
Why they don't make tunes like that anymore?????????
    **** KNOWS!!!!
I'm a big fan of Belgian producer M.I.K.E and find the sound he pioneers about the most authentic and original in contemporary Trance music but why there is so much shit about when there used to be so many quality tunes, God only knows.
