Just a quckie anyone know why skelter techno/trance shut down?

i've heard endless stories, one of the main ones being the influx of Scallies, trouble causers. Who were'nt there for the music just for a free night.. another one was that skelter was'nt making as much money as it use to.. One of my mates went on new years eve and said that the rollers was'nt open?

1. Not many people there

2. Another one from the grapevine, that someone was carrying a hammer of some sort in the complex, and smashin people in the face.(nice guy) eh? thus shutting the rollers down meant a bigger chance of catchin the happy hammer man? ( i think i heard also that this guy had done someone in outside with the HAMMER and left him for DEAD in a bush" F***kin asswipe!)

3. I've been once to the sanctuary complex, and after emerging from the sanctuary to head to the rollers, i noticed all the security fencing had been ripped down and people were just walkin in..

4. Soz to warble on, but can anyone shed anylight on the situation?... i know skelter is still up and running, sidewinder and so on... But i feel it needs the bigger venue, to bring back the madness that it once produced!

LOL, grapevine indeed.



There was a hammer attack in the legendary B+Q car park in the morning after Skelter NYE 1999. No trouble inside the venue of that sort whatsover.
