I thought you might see it as me being critical, but I honestly wasnt trying to do that. I know how rough it can be putting line-ups on, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, it is just that I thought that this is the first time there has been a Hardstyle Room at one of the big events, and done right then it should help the Hardstyle scene throughout the whole of the country grow onwards and upwards. Jon doesnt play any Hardstyle (as far as I know anyhoo) so someone who wanders into the "Hardstyle" arena at the event when he is playing having not really experienced any of the music will probably hear Hard Trance, and therefore base their decision on whether they like Hardstyle more on that than actual Hardstyle tunes.Originally Posted by Bionic
I myself actually think that Bionic is doing good things for Hardstyle in the UK is a step in the right direction, you have built up a superb following for yourselves and deserve the right to take on the challenge of taking the scene to a Wider Audience. Maybe the arena should be called the "Hard Trance and Hardstyle" arena???
One last point..... "supported by people like yourself who claim to like hardstyle"..... www.geoffnugent.tk supports my "claim" ;)
