theres a difference btween asking if you can, and the using it constructively, and just thieving it and not doing much with it

I want my 1 minute back, didn't even bother listening from start to finnish. I take it its just the vocal? or is it the drum loop too? Hope the original it was ripped from is much better.

Oh well, Karma will get him back...

Im confused, correct me if I wrong, but didn't Glenn clear the sample from some porn site? Therefore the rights to the vocals actually belong to the owners of the site, meaning he ripped off the site, not Glenn?

Don't get me wrong, the track is atrocious, but everyone seem's to be overlooking this fact!?

i dont have a problem with people sampling stuff really, if its to a point that what they do with it is in a positive manner, hence this thread

"how not to rip a loop"

if it was took and laid over some fat beats with some crazy f*****d up filter madness with some banging percussion and mad edits then the thread would read.

"oooow yea pump my frosset pouch with a rampant rabbit and call me sally, this is how to rip a loop"

    hold on...

this track is one loop and one vocal and ahhemm a really badly EQ'd ride cymbal. the vocal wouldn't be an issue if it hadn't been such a big club hit, anyway... it's too blatent.. this is the problem with computers, cracks and no sense of creativity.

BTW NO WE DIDNT BLATENTLY SAMPLE GLENN. We did a remix on Hereos, so obviously had his samples!!! And if anything WAS sounding similar it might have had something to do with the fact us and glenn shared loops at that time. This was before a time that most ppl used loops!!! Right now, we don't use a loop without serious miss mashing it into our sound. Please don't tar us with the K-Hole brush!!!!

This track is so bad for techno. Producers out there need to realise you need to think about things more. Distributors need to wise up to this. I really hope this happens.

Man, that main loop hasn`t even been looped and cut properly.
Regardless of whether it is blatant or not, it`s just really badly done.
Badly composed, badly produced, overall it`s just total shite.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

    1st forum??

    MAAATE!!!

    there's others.

(but they're the good ones hehehehehe)

Editing means that if you've been a cunt you can make yourself look wicked. Sorry but that's not the way life is, in reality is it. I hate this whole behind a computer/faceless thing. If you're gonna say something, say it. But don't go back on yourself 6 months later (which i see in nearly all forums i visit).

I really understand ppl have a genuine need to edit spellings and stuff, but there's no way i can diffrentiate the two things, so I have to keep the edit button off.

Perhaps this is what makes this forum so genuine. Anyway, sorry you havent got an edit button. Just click the preview button before you post, read it through and make sure it's totally what you want to say ;)
