the production is incredible and you can tell this is more j on the mixdownn rather than liebing.
Cant wait, love SJ and am a fan of liebling as well...

But my my mark - claws out for liebling re:themixdown!! haha MEEOWW!

Well, it probably needs to be said, and in fairness since when did Speedy J need someone else to make a good record?
Basically, it's a marriage of convenience.

it says on the sheet it's out november.

    BUTTMAN YOU'RE BACK!!!

actually no offense guys but i really don't get all this 'liebing doesn't have any production talent' thing. especially after hearing this. you can soooo tell that speedy is in charge of the productiion (imho) but the whole liebing dj style reallly comes out in a few of the dark sounds used on each track. in a way it's like speedy had said ok here's the sound, now you modulate it. i really think that has been the key to these guys production.

perhaps i should of entitled this 'speedy and liebing new album' but for me, this is primarily a speedy j album with the dark soundscapes and crowd killing modulation of liebing.

actually i just heard it again TWICE in the car tonight. the really point where this album takes off is track 8. then 9 and 10 are just out of this world, especiallly the way the album ends. there's a few clever tracks at the beginning, notably 2 and 4 but honestly, it's the last 25 minutes that make this one of the purchases of the year...

let me try to upload one of the tracks next week for you all to check ;)

out of all the collabs he's done that I've heard so far, I've gotta say that I like the one he did with literon the best. It's just got that funky yet still hard banging feel to it you dont hear very often.

I can't wait to hear this album.

Agreed, that's the only one I've found useful so far too. The side with the big snare on it is good for playing double copies of.

The Collabs series on paper seems like a good idea, I dunno though... I think Joachem gets better results on his own.
