    Default Giving Feedback

Thought this could be an interesting topic...

Feedback is important but is all about appreciation of opinion I think. I hate giving feedback for only one reason, as I don't want to sound like I'm some "know-it-all" as I'm still learning too!

Please don't ever take my criticisms or praises as anything more than just my natural honest reaction. I just hope that whatever I do say helps a person move foward one way or another.

What does everyone else think about feedback?

p.s... the irony of asking for feedback about giving feedback.... :)
Follow your music with heart and you can never go wrong...

too me, it's the most important thing. HONEST feedback.

without other ppl's honest opinions, you can't look left of right.

and if you're going to be dishonest then, what's the point.

i'm soooooooooo upfront and honest about ppl's tunes and i'm always offending ppl.

but if that get's a reaction and makes someone work harder then 'great'. what's the problem?

if i believe i know something , then why not share it? if i don't know it then **** it, i'll say anyway and be shot down in the argument.

honesty and feedback - always the best policy.

as long as i'm giving the feedback for the right reasons then so what????????

Yeah it's very important to give good honest feedback....

Your less of a cunt to give honest feedback that is criticising, than go "Yeah mate your new tune/mix is ****ing wikked mate, keep it up" if thats not the way you feel.

People need guidance all the time, without this, they wouldn't know what to do or where to go. :)

I think that most of the time on this board if people have a negative opinion they just don't share it. This of course creates a chain where everybody is a little scared to give an honest opinion.

I personally don't give my feedback on tunes so much, as I have no idea about producing, but I always try to give my opinion on mixes that people post, whether it's good or bad.

If it's bad though, I always try to be constructive in my criticism.

    feedback...
i always try and be honest and just suggest what i would possibley do if it were me.....
u can normally tell when someone is just slating you and when they are being helpful, but yes, am scared of giving feedback alot of the time, just incase it comes across the wrong way.
But i think we now know each other enough to not have to worry about that....i would trust alot of ppls opions on here, so i'd like to think that ppl would trust mine.
