This subject keeps getting brought up. There are people out there who take a type of music that's currently underground, copy it, commercialize it and shag it for money. But at the end of the day they will never go for proper hard trance I mean PROPER @#%$ YOU AND YOUR MUM hard trance because it's too dark and dirty for that. What they are calling hard trance at the moment just sounds like Cheese with a fat baseline. Our sound will just keep changing, ducking and diving to avoid commercialism so don't worry son. Have faith in your music!

That's correct... Acid Nightmare will never be on Top of the Pop's.

Hard Trance is mutating as we speak... and people who love cheese trance will be trembling at the real sound of the underground scene.

As for the future? we have to make it good. I'm going to be doing my bit 2003.

If dj's like Markeg,Uberdruck,Mzone,Ikon and loads more(and myself of course) keep playing proper hard trance then it will always be around in some shape or form we just have to make sure it doesnt go stale

yep...1) i've even heard a few techno djs playing acid nightmare...so its never gonna be on TOTP/NOW 55 2) the hard trance tidy are putting out is music which does exactly what it says on the tin.... trance trax with trance riffs but harder and faster minus the pop vocals...hell yeah, sum of it is good (riot bros.) but pretty standard/formulaic and its never gonna be Acid Step - Lazy....UNIX - midblowing speed....SCHWARZENPUPPEN!!! 3) i heard mark eg,mzone and uberdruck at North a couple of weeks ago and can safely say that any commercial-hedz/tidylicker would have had a sudden bowel movement!!!.... i even had one meself during mzone's set!! the future's bright.... the future's harder, darker and more twisted!?!?

Im an extreame lover of hard trance, and labels such as tracid traxx, overdose and redemption are ace,but where do you think its gonna head? Whats worring me is Hard House nonesense is gonna bring it out of underground and start F**kin around with its dark, uplifiting sounds, and were gonna have CDs like "NOW! thats what I call music 55, including A.S.Y.S-Acid nightmare" What do you lot think?OY! Yeah, melodies often mean things go commercial. The resurgence of electro recently was great, but then Ministry got hold of it and realised that they could market acts like Fischerspooner to the general public. I think you've got to stay clear of melodies that have been done before. That's the future of hard trance....

they seem to do a good job of covering up using old material. Still love how far the italian labels have come. I remember over a year ago listening to there stuff on Germantrance.Com and it was, well, shite. But now!

    There leading the way...
