Ok, dj Mag def might not be the best media outlet for techno right now, but we all sort of agree that some media will help.
When Chris Liberator got in there which was totaly awsome, alot of my prog friends automatically put him on their "dj's to see in the next year" list, not Lisa Lashes or Family Jules, but Chris. If that gets the clubs full of people wanting to here these guys (even if it was fed to them by a magazine) the club owners and promoters will take notice which will have a positive outcome for techno openers like us.
Lisa Lashes and the like will take credit for anything new, that's unavoidable, so we might as well take the benefits from the side result of that. The only way to beat them would be to have a bigger and better PR firm and for that you need big money and for big money you need big gigs, which come from media and magazines.
