just techno djs are lazy.

if you gave someone like dj craze a bass tone locked groove and a locked groove record i bet hed come up with some very good "technical" stuff.
I dont think they would personally otherwise they would have been using locked grooves long before now. Plus most of the beatmatching i hear from hip-hop DJs are only very approximate designed to last a bar or two at most. It takes a lot more skill to keep the tracks in time after 2 or so minutes as the BPM only has to be a fraction out and its noticable
