    Default FLStudio EQ / Mastering?

    Hey,

If I am to EQ specific channels in FLStudio, do I do this in the Mixer where the FX are or somewhere else?

Is the mastering part of production in the final phases of a track done by EQing each channel to make the whole track sound better? Or is it the process of mastering or eqing the whole track?

I know EQ / Mastering is the most important in production and would like to know the styles and techniques that are taken.

always remember its better to take away than add with eq,
yes, in fruity, use the eq in the mixer, but for better results, when using fruity, i tend to use soundforges effects as plugins.

the Fruity Parametic EQ is a very nice tool indeed still, i used it alot, EQ each sound on a channel of its own of course remember that

i use some Soundforge plugins too but mainly Timeworks and Native Instruments plus various other bits and bobs for EQ, compression, master etc etc

get a few different EQ's and Compressors etc and see what works for you best

    i use mainly waves eqs

or the parametric eq in FL

try not to boost too much, try taking away first, usually works good that way ;)
