    Default NERO Question

How can I raise the volume of my recordings on Nero without going above the 'red line'. When I burn the recordings onto cd the volume seems to be a little too quiet.

Normalise in Soundforge (or Wavelab, or whatever) before burning.

You might want to limit it as well, to avoid clipping.

In SoundForge, I think it's "Process --> Normalise", but that's just off the top of my head.

Normalise it to something like -0.1db.

As long as you select maximum peak, it cant get clipping from normalising
