How can I raise the volume of my recordings on Nero without going above the 'red line'. When I burn the recordings onto cd the volume seems to be a little too quiet.

something for your mind.........
Normalise in Soundforge (or Wavelab, or whatever) before burning.
You might want to limit it as well, to avoid clipping.
I thought it was normalise but Ive never had a clue how to use it.
what would I do then?

In SoundForge, I think it's "Process --> Normalise", but that's just off the top of my head.Originally Posted by mattshephard
Normalise it to something like -0.1db.
As long as you select maximum peak, it cant get clipping from normalisingOriginally Posted by TechMouse
