noob fruity loops question

i haven't used it for bloody ages, and i cant get it to copy a pattern in the playlist.

so say i've got a synth pattern, and i want it to play for 32 bars, without sitting there and painting in each bar, how can i copy them in big blocks of say 32 or whatever.

i've managed to copy some things, but they dont go where i want them to go and the help files are bloody useless, god i feel stupid asking such an easy question :lol:

You need to highlight the parts you want to copy. Do this by either draging a loop section out in the timeline at the top, or by using the selection tool at the top left of the playlist. Then ctr c, ctr v.

yeah, tried that and nothing happens must be doing something wrong somewhere

Sorry, forgot to add -

In most cases, it will copy over the top of the previous ones. Simply change your tool to the paint brush and while they are all selected, more them to the desired place...
