1. Get a Kick and a Bassline going.
2. Pan the Kick hard left.
3. Pan the Bassline hard right.
4. Create a "group" track.
5. Route both the Kick and The Bassline into your group track.
6. Add a Waves-C1-sc plugin.
7. Set the sidechain mode to L->R.
8. Bingo, sidechained bass.

It's gay, but it works.
