I ask because I've been really not very happy with my kicks. I thought it might have just been some of the samples I use.

Do you make your kicks with a synth or from samples?
that kick is acutally like 4 or 5 kicks at differant frequencies and settings on top of each other then you have a very crunched compressor on top
and because the loop/mixer thing is only 5 layers, i needed to make it sound more full so some gated reverb did the trick.
