like previously mentioned, his tracks follow the same route every time, and the cheesy pad breakdowns have become a little tiring on the ears for me, but to his credit he has turned out some exellent hard trance records in the past.

but the fact that he sees the "pound signs" hardly suprises me, in fact it seems to becoming a trend with many european producers which is very dissapointing.

when the uk dance press seems to catch wind of european trance artists, and they begin to secure gigs here, or sell bucket loads of records here, ive noticed that their productions suffer, they quickly lick the arses of the uk mainstream dj's, clubs, and magazines, yet the mainstream treat these artists as fashion, and quickly dispense of them when something better comes along, and us in the underground see fu*k all of these artists that we have supported for so long. the only european label that i can think of where production hasnt suffered is bonzai, but on the downside they still have too much respect for the uk mainstream shit. :?

guys scot project is far from dead in my eyes, yes it is a stale sound he is churing out just now (altough i am hammerin visions) i think he is the one who maybe is still gonna surprise us... production wise the guy is a legend, is gigs have started slowin down a bit, and he is workin on an album and tunes which "uberdruck" said were really good.

Same goes for shokk and flutlicht, they have been churning out the same old stuff for over a year and a half now, u can spot one of there tunes a mile away... its back too the drawin board for these guys, to see if they can come back with a sound which is gonna impress us (which really they have too, as we are spinnin there tunes, and we are fussy gits?).

While they are doin this everyone has too stop bein hung up on the likes of scot proj, shokk etc as there are another load of hard trance producers out there who deserve our attention. Its all coming from italy for me.

Max savietto is rockin my boat just now....

Jay walker etc is all very good, But i think they are maybe populer because they have adopted a foriegn sound? Event horizon sounds very scot project esq?

I wouldnt worry one bit, as i thought the hard trance has been quite strong of late, with a lot of quality stuff gettin pumped out of italy?
