I absolutely hate the thing...After ZIQ111 I thought he'd hit on something, it was a pretty spectacular album, then Meathole, I found out he'd done it a few years earlier than ZIQ111, but still, that's no excuse, it seems Meathole was pushed out for no apparent reason, just to make a buck or two, IMO, it goes backwards to wards the vein of his older stuff, Higgins Ultra... and Find Candace yet it doesn't even come close to any of those earlier releases...Shame, I thought we had something to look forward to from him, obviously not...

well, I guess its the same in any music style.. when you dont have anything new to offer, you offer "best off" or "look, I found some older unreleased tracks" compilation

Yeah, that's the problem man, he's got soooo much potential, why did he feel the need to release something that is obviously shoddy by his standards???

im with you on this Sid, i dont hate it but it does absolutley nothing for me. Im looking at it as a transitional album, like a stop gap i guess.

I wouldnt write him off though man, far from it. I dont know how he could of followed the Hungarian Pigeon album (ziq111), even he said it was his opus and with the amount he releases well you cant be right constantly. Though theres quite alot of his tracks im not into the ones that do, hit home.

As for just pushing it out for just money, look at it this way. If you had tracks that youd made there, youd release em. I see where your coming from because its sort of a void album to some but its also a great album to others who want more of the same scatter breaks... theres not that many people who do it in this way.

Nah man, I think it's wrong, he's selling us and himself short by doing so IMO...

I agree with you there, he's got his own style and fair play for that...

but maybe he thinks that its a good album as do many others yknow. I mean all the usual edits and arrangment stuff are there. Its just the actual sounds he uses which i dont like. I think alot of people are quite quick to jump to the opinion of 'this release is just for the money' to soon. When they dont really know the actual background of work thats gone into the release.

I agree though in part that it does sound a bit shoddy and i dont particularly like it but as i said, theres alot of people that its hit home with and really enjoy it so it seems its all down to a matter of preference of sorts to me :)

yeah i was a bit disappointed with this, much like i was with 'winnipeg.....' but then thats just cos i expected something more broken and fresh from him. at the end of the day though, its still good hardcore.

Hmmmnnn...Good Hardcore has to push boundaries man, that's what makes Hardcore special, because it pushes the limits, it encompasses all styles taking them and turning them into a melee of sound, this simply doesn't do any of that...For me anyways...
