They have been pretty formulaic from the start mate...

They all sound pretty similar...even to the fact that I get mixed up which ones are which...

Let down??? the cuntmaster remix was absolutely brill. and 'distorted soul' was different from any other productions on Uberdruck. Also the new Druckentek mixes do take the sound in a different direction. i do feel that Uberdruck is quite formulated (isn't all music?) - but it's a formula that works.

I know mate, but when scot project follows formulas mate... he gets ripped apart. Not takin sides....

I think sometimes he escapes critism. when some of the tune under the uberdruck alis ave been average.

Uberdruck have a formula that works and if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Syncronized was really different if you ask me, very different to his usual.

The uberdruck remix of syncronized was different from his usual stuff???

What was different about it??? Thought it sounded a but tired tbh..

It mite not be broke.. but it doesnt mean it wont get replaced, by a newer, fresher sound by someone else.

How about the way the it kicks in after the breakdown and the melody doesn't follow the 4x4 pattern for starters. The beginning has a different bassline to the main part of the tune and it changes back and forth throughout and I found the tune quite uplifting which you don't normally find with an Uberdruck release.

Uberdruck do follow formulas, but they have a wider variation of formulas, thanks to their multiple guises. They seem to innovate little parts of tracks quite often too, stopping them from getting too stale.
Although Scot Project has two different guises, he still uses the same formula in every track which is the difference.

Maybe mate... but i found the tune boring and stale. dont get upset, but i think unless they reivent that alias (Uberdruck) they could dissapear. They are not untouchable. Its very similer to there remix of fast floor...

Its not very upliftin imo either.

they have been very formulated for sure, not 1/2 as much as scot project, but i think that's why they have been the massive success that they are. i do think it's time for them to try some new shit though. definitely. and i know dirk and david are in it for the right reasons so if we are all saying this now, i'm sure they are a step ahead of us and will surprise us in the future.

    let's just wait and see.

When uberdruck where up in scotland, they played there new C4 tune, and it was also quite similer too other stuff they have done... good but.

They had also played a few thigns i didnt recognise and they were nails... and one of them told jay m that they had heard the new scot project material and it was back too wat we expected from him and they liked it!!!

So im pretty excited too see wat both parties put out.
