Koma thats some track.. I have it on an old Nu-Trance compliation that came out on transient. Aye... back in the days when we would call it trance without being ashamed of it.

It IS actually about time that ahem "Trance" had a PROPER comeback along the lines of Rising High, Transient and old TIP stuff. I still play quite a few of these type records in my sets to much enthusiasm.

i think i've heard richie and john aquaviva spin that. no joke. "trance" from 1992 or so is fine for me...nostalgic, pleasant, not that different from techno...sounds good spun nowadays with some old detroit and german minimal sh*t

heard hawtin play it a few times.

sacred cycles was an anthem at the orbit for years.
resident john berry used to play it nearly every week.

say it loud - i love old trance and i'm proud.

speaking of which, that hawtin mix from 1996 @ technodrome has a trance track i need.
it's on side 2 about 6 minutes in, after FU.

That trance trance tune your on about is familiar. It's the sort of stuff Va(unlout)th was playing out in the hardbeat days. just can't quite place the mix it's in

It samples a Genesis track - "The Fountain of Salmacis", from their Nursery Cryme LP (1971).
