    Default Fruity question

Again another question from "The Beginner" but is there a way of adding an effect to a channel at a certain point in the playlist. For example turning the feed up on a sound to make it echoey, but only for about 8 beats. I tried doing this using the record button but it applies the effect to the whole playlist for that channel.

this only works on fruity plugins, not any others
go to a new pattern, right click the effect parameter you want to change and choose "edit events" then draw a line or whatever and shazam.
the alarm clock\'s going off. but you\'re not waking up. this isn\'t happening.

It workz fine but I r writting 2 automation 2 the same pattern u have the notes so it starts from the same point each time u start the pattern..

Like log said choose an empty pattern.. now click on the channel/ inst. u want 2 automate... right click on the know... now make sure u do the automation on the bars/ measures u need the automation..

Most V instruments have automation... if not the usual way .. just click on the top left corner of the pannel and there should b something about automating funtions.. and which ones u can automate!!

If your using FL Studio u can automate the on/off switch of the of any of the plug-ins (not just fruity) by opening up the FX channel u are using and then right clicking on the little green dot next to the FX u want to switch on/off. Then click 'edit events'

Then u draw in the automation data as you would with any other automation. Bar all the way up means the lug-in is on, and the bar all the way down turns it off.

hope this made sense to you, and hopefully helped a bit
