ok spooney
i will telll you how nearly right but how very wrong you are .

look this is what happenned......

vicious circle asked me to do a remix of acid disco
this was my first attempt using the naff "disco" sample and a discoey-techno bassline
they didn't like it ( well they did but it wasn't what they wanted from me AT THE TIME)
so i did another mix
which was the acid disco mix that came out with 303s wooshy noises big breakdown etc etc etc .
i redid the voice too myself because that horrble "disco" sample was winding me up

months pass......

vicous circle ring up and say they've been getting a lot of feedback about my first mix
and ask me to do it again only slower for a possible house label they might be starting

i slow it down
but it doesn't sound right

so i edit it
that sounds wrong too

hmmm..........

eventually neonate happens and they think "feck it"
we've been playing it from cdr for ages
everyone likes it.........lets release it ........................................hoorah!!!! !

and the promo lands on my doorstep .

i play it and .......i quite like it actually.

well it is a little old now
but it's not that old

luke slater did a mix with a similar disco bassline
and everyone was wetting themsleves over it
and that was my inspiration for this track

yes it is lighter than other tracks of mine
but then you need a little light and shade ocasionally

( unless you like schranz in which case just get out of the sun completely)

so there it is
the original mix of acid disco which to my mind is a track in its own right seeing as it bears about as much resemblance to the original acid disco as a banana.

and that's about the size of it
;) Fair Enough H
