I think it sounds pretty cool. I'm not sure though about the kick myself. I guess I just don't know if it is meant to be so distorted or not. I kind of like that sound, but I feel it also takes away from the percussive elements in the tune at times. Then I think you ride and your hats are colliding a bit too. Man, sorry to be so picky...

Overall though the tune has a pretty smooth progression, so it doesn't get stale like some tunes can. Although I think ultimately it's better for a DJ tool.

it needs a big fat clean kick that punches straight through the mix, then it'd sound fat! maybe layer a few kicks see what happens
