Im afraid Friday is cancelled.. i didnt know how to put it but i thought straight to the point would be best.
I called Scubar this morning and asked what time i could go round on Friday to set up the extra soundsystem and got a, 'its not this Friday is it?'. Theyve gone and mixed up the dates (how i dont know seeing as i even went round to the venue last week and was chatting to someone there about the gig). I asked if i could just have upstairs in the venue but apparently this 'regular' night needs both areas.. school disco sh!te i think.
Im sorry for all this but iv tried ringing round every other venue possible (retro bar etc) and nowheres free obviously.
What can i say, im totaly wounded and super p!ssed off and have hated typing this message.
People whove bought their own tickets (jay) il refund your fare etc.
Okay im off to try and get my money back on the other train tickets iv bought.
Im going to sort a replacement night asap and id like to book all the same artists if possible.
Once again, im totaly sorry for all this, who said bad luck didnt come in 3's?!

Thought you might have problems with the Scubar mate when I heard that you were doing an event down there. Really wouldn't advise dealing with them - I did the first three Hard Life's down there and while they were wicked nights and you can get a cool atmosphere in that basement, all three nearly got cancelled up to half hour before we opened, due to problems caused by the venue being ****ing slack.
Didn't realise you are registered on here Mike, or would have sent you a pm to warn you that something like this might happen!
