ive just been messing around with the buffer settings on cubase, and im just trying to make the correct balance. a few questions if you please!!! ;)

i have the Output Audio Buffer at '9999' and i left the Input at '2048', an one know the difference between these??

and when exporting the audio, does the buffer sttings affect the overall mixdown, coz im getting some delayed midi, or if i reset the settings, i miss out on sounds!!!!

any tips or standard buffer settings for a tune with 8+ audio tracks with multiple plugins/fx and a few likewise midi tracks

im stll gettin to know my new ESI ESP1010 card, now i just want to get downndirty, if ye get me
