I'd love to do a blind test on some good monitors, taking a 24/96 recording and various lower bitrates, and get people to try and identify the recordings in order of sampling quality. I guarantee some people who wax lyrical on this would have to eat their words.

I have always found WMA better than MP3 in most cases. I was always interested in the codecs amount of colouring of the sound. Interesting what they said about the MP3 format and its take on audio replication.
