It was out ages and ages ago and it was huge then in holland etc, this is only a repress so i dont think it will be damaging to the scene.
I liked it when it first came out but never played it,i dont see the harm in fun records as long as they dont take the total piss (ie yankee doodle thing on suntec).
People take music too serious at times and sometiimes forget that its all about the people on the dancefloor and not how cool the dj can be.
I wouldnt normaly play this track but if i was djing in a club one night i i knew for a fact that this tune would blow the roof off i would think a bout dropping it

I'm stating a fact, not asking your opinion. This record was one of the initial records in the hardstyle boom. Therefore it helped in it's own way to create the genre. I can't believe to be honest that a lot of you have never heard this tune before.

Sometimes some people on this board speak as if hardstyle producers aim solely at Britain when in actual fact they'd probably be highly surprised to learn that anyone even knows what hardstyle is over here. They make their own records for themselves, so it's really pretty much pointless to think that a record is going to ruin hardstyle if it's been out for more than a year over there and was really popular.

ur on a board/forum which gives me the oppertunity too give an answer or opinion too ur "fact"... so take it easy. its not a dictator ship here, i can give my opinions wether u like it or not.

hardstyle has been out longer than a year mate... and when people label it stuff, i think the people labelling are way behind anyway.

Ian van dahl was popular, but it doesnt mean it was good, or that it didnt damage the trance scene.

I never asked people's opinions on this track though, because to be perfectly honest it doesn't interest me whether other members like it or not. You came on this post stating your opinion (which by the way I stated earlier in the thread you were entitled to).The purpose of this post was to let others who know how rare a find it is to know that it was on GT, as I knew it wouldn't be there long.

Hardstyle has only been around for about a year and a half, maybe stretching it to 2 years. This track is a year and a half old.

Why do you keep bringing up Ian Van Dahl? I see no relevance?

    rite man...

ian van dahl is a reference point too . populer tracks are not always good for scenes.

and the thriller track acts as a similer kinda of track imo.

    nah bollocks boys....
this tune has been bout for sooo long now.....those that know the know, know...simple.
nice one voorhez for pointing it out on gt.com , i went straight there to get the bad ass tune, but alas , got email saying they was out.. (even tho i swear i was like at that site within 30 mins of that post...)
    anyhoe....
it's cheeeeesey as fwark and if it were to get a general release now, OMG! i think i would pack up my decks and send em back to vestax, i wouldnt wanna know anymore, if they started releasing shiete like that.
but, for those that remeber the birth/evolution/begining knows that it was one of the first huge dutch "hardstyle" club hit (yes club, as in ministry of sound style, just cos it's "underground" here, dont mean it is in holland...)
done by one of their home grown dj/producer talents that they all adore, dj isaac....
i was there, about 2 weekends after the tune got first played in a club in amsterdam.. the thing blow the fuking roof off, then i met the dj in the record shop bout 2 days after, tried to blag a copy and got the finger ;) been after it ever since...
so, my question is; should it get a general release now? (if it got cleared blah blah bla...) would it be bad for the scene... i mean, i dont think it's a badly produced tune, typical isaac style, but it works.. it gets ppl dancing, its quite "tuff", it dont go faarlalalalalrfaarrrrllala at any point (if i remeber correctly, maybe it does... :? ), just has that thriller melody and voice samples and norm isaac kick & bass....

I don't think it would necessarily do our genre any wrong if this was fully released in the UK because I don't think it would be labeled as hardstyle here.

It's incredibly similar to a Steve Murano tune and they never got labeled as hardstyle here. The only way it would be labeled hardstyle was if Nukleuz got hold of it, but we're talking highly theoretically here now.

Bad news that you didn't get a copy Chaz, GT must have only had a couple of copies in, God knows where they got them because they didn't know what it was (Unknown? British?!), and it definitley isn't a repress.

I wouldn't be 2 dismayed if you didn't get a copy because It's getting repressed on a white with that DJ Issac mix of 'Nobody Listens To Techno' on the other side.

But I didn't tell you that ok ;)
