I'm wandering if there's any way you can mod the cross fader so it doesn't do that annoying delaying thing when you cut from channel to channel, and if there's any way I can make the curve fully adjustable?
don't have enough money to invest in 92 you see, but would like to scratch...
its a vcf fader ud have to rewire the circuity so the fader didnt go through the main vcf board, in short i doubt u could tbh
i have heard of people fixing the x fadder for cutting.
You could replace the cross fader with one of these. They are endorsed by scratchworx so should be excellent for scratching.

yea but its still goes through the vcf process on the circuit board even if u replace it doesnt it? means there will still be a latency
Not too sure, says this in the f.a.q though.
11.0 What is a customisable cut-in point? (Lag time adjust)
Using the easy accessible adjustable cut-in rotaries, the DJ can adjust the cut-in point to enable an instant on-off switch feel or gradual volume increase mode.
nah think that talkin about crossfader curve
What you could do...
Run a cheap scratch mixer off the FX sends.
