Default CYPHER Returns - 3rd October - Birthday Bash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yo Yo Yo...stop your grinin and hold your linen..hahaha!! Sorry for that…

After having there annual summer break..CYPHER is set to return to Leeds on 3rd October!!!!!! On their return, they will touch down with a NEW venue..and a more up to date music policy.

There were one or two people slating the music policy that Cypher had, trying to cater for everyone, in that it went too soft!? i.e.they had one or two hard house dj's playing in the main room, where as it had always been alot harder!! So on listening to this criticism, they have worked on ideas(they, being Ginge & Toby) to improve what Cypher has to offer, whilst at the same time, catering for as many different styles as possible!!!! The new venue is the PARADISE CLUB, in Leeds town centre, and has 3 rooms!!

In one room, the music will be hard...starting with Hard Trance, and working it's way through, as hard as you can go..well on this occasion it'll be as hard as i can go..haha!! Then another room, will be catering, for the Hard Dance side of things..working through Acid Trance, Hard House etc..the last room will be chill off room, featuring chill off music, of course..hehe!!!

Anyway...here's the line up, for 2 of the rooms, and i guarantee, this ways up to be one hell of a night!!!

    Main Room

    Scott Brown
    Sarge
    Ginge
    Clipper
    +more

    2nd Room

    Illogik
    GRH
    Easty

Oh yeah..1 last thing!!! This is Cyphers BIRTHDAY too..and i know Ginge has somethin up his sleeve, to make it even more special than it's already going to be!!!! Maybe i'll pull somethin out for it too..ya never know!?

    So who's comin..???????????????????????????????????????

sorry to piss on the bonfire, but i went to the paradise club a couple of months ago for a free techno party and it seems to be a bit too classy for some serious underground partying (laminated flooring, leather sofas, its very contempary) how come you've moved from the warehouse?, i like the warehouse its well suited to a good old underground knees up.

Don't worry it's gonna take a lot to piss on my fire....haha....it's me third birthday!!!!...hehehe

I agree with ya The Warehouse was a nice venue and all..it's a shame that it went into reciervership. The sale was held up by the bank and the new owner couldn't offer me any dates. The Paradice approached me with regular dates. After a thorough checking out of the venue (I was at the same free party...it was by Tekfresh wasn't it?) I thought it had potential. So did my mates, who all went to the venue and liked it. The sound systems in both rooms are class, the door staff are friendly and the manager has an open minded policy to our style of muisc.

I admit it's a classy venue and all, with nice sofas etc....but I much prefer a clean new venue than a venue with chairs you stick too (like the Warehouse to be honest...it felt too much like home.. )

As for not being underground enough....don't worry a bit of smoke, awesome visuals, a couple of lazers, a phat strobe and complete audio assault you won't know where you are......hahahahahahaha..cough!

i didnt mean to be offensive tobe, hope it all goes well, i think it all boils down to personal choice, and i prefer the dirtier & darker clubs (even if you do stick to the chairs! ) it doesnt mean i will never come down to the paradise, i mean the venue isnt the most important thing, and i admit man, the system at the paradise is good/loud although there was a lot of treble going off at that party (my ears were ringing for 3 days!)

good luck with cypher man, hope it all goes well.

No offence taken mate it's good to hear different perspectives on things.

Should be able to sort the treble out with a proper sound check.

Hope ta seen ya down dude!
