mate that doesnt surprise me... im gonna be unpopular wi corbz and the lot... but flutlicht and shokk sound has sounded the same for ages... they couldnt take that sound any further imo, maybe he feels the same. Imo apart from the g*m rmx, they ave all been pretty lame. Even the g and m one sounded the same as older tunes, but i couldnt ignore the fact that it was imense...

the new tatana one on progressive state highlights this imo, sounds like a quickly put together tune... which sounds very flutlicht ish....

they were imense guys dont, get me wrong, but all good things come too an end, and maybe marco is doin the rite thing by bowin out for a break so he can come back fresh and different, with a new sound to blow us away, as maybe if he carried that sound any further forward we might all ave ended up hatin his stuff?

im kinda upsety but i do agree that some of there stuff was going stale and reverd obviously feels the same, better mthat he leaves now and they try new things than continuing to be unhappy ,which in the ned wopuld bring them down

hmmm.... not too sure i agree with that, i mean, kramer really hasnt changed his sound or formula for years and still it sounds fresh as fukk, and i feel the same way about shokk/flut... eg tatana "moments" geilomatics, the g+m one, personally i still think he was making the freshest sounding stuff out there...

however, i do know that reverb was never that into trance in the first place, and your right, i would prefer that he gave up and did something new that he enjoyed rather than churn out stuff he wasnt feeling... and i reckon whatever he chooses to do, whether it be trance (doubt it), techno (if only...) chillout (now that would be beatiful) or full on brass band oompah shit then its gonna rock da bells. y'all.

oh my giddy gosh?!?!?! :? umm i can definately see where people are coming from... the whole flutlicht/ s.h.o.k.k. vibe has been a little un-innovative of late... i remember the days when i`d litteraly be panting like a rabid dog in anticipation of the latest offerings from reverbs audio laboratory... all i have to say is the scene owes him alot of respect and its definately better to burn out than to fade away... (i e churn out stuff with no passion and have the trance massive slate his creations) i wish him all the best and no doubt what ever he turns his hand to will be awesome... :D

ps shout out to the eg (of course) & the log:one(phone me man your impossible to get hold of dude)

I think it's a shame as I believe the Shokk team were one of the best minds for delivering trance music hard, melodic, deep and meaningful.

Isn't it all a little strange?

Whatever his reasons are for taking this action is his alone so I guess its a matter of appreciating what we have had from Shokk/Flutlict and wish them all luck.

For all we know they may be back in the scene again in a years time.
