ripsnorter returns!

Clubland has been worryingly quiet for some of late but our last two events have been RAMMED to capacity (surely a rarity these days, innit?!?) with happy, smiling UV ravers getting their mintin’ dose of ‘avinit before the inevitable break over the Summer. We’re back with all the trimmings…carefully constructed musical line-ups, full staging/lighting/UV décor/production and plenty of those special personal touches that make the Ripper atmosphere so special.
After a healthy three-month break from clubbing (although we’ve been doing the notorious boat parties and playing at Free Parties everywhere over the Summer), The Rippers return to The Depot with a line up to knock yer socks off!!!
Old fave Mark EG returns bringing with him his trademark showmanship backed by a box full of blistering techno-trance; we have rising star of the Welsh scene and GBH resident Chuck-E playing thumpin’ German hard-trance to da Bunker Junkies; and to top it all we have a Scratch-a-delic Showdown - North versus South – Base versus Ripsnorter - the deck challenge of the year, between Kutski who “scratches better than any DJ you will hear” and our very own newly wed scratch-meister Ben Chilman. Even though Kutski’s CD is the best we’ve heard all year, we think we know who’s gonna come out on top…!!!! Bring it on!!!! After her highly competent Ripsnorter debut earlier this year, we welcome back Catjane56 to The Penthouse.

Ive been to Ripsnorter a few times and to be fair didn't think much of it, you do get the odd banging set but there tends to be too much commercial hard House. The Depot is a quality venue however.

Ripsnorter has an amazing atmosphere, yeah there's a bit of commercial hard house there which i dont like but it's mainly up-stairs,
downstairs is awesome most of the time, and as u say its a quality venue.

The last time i went to ripsnorter was New Years Eve, there was No count Down for 12am and the only real Hard Set was Chocci down stairs. The best nights ive been to there has been the GBH and Lunacy nights.
