Default Lets give em some credit shall we, they deserve it!!!!!!!!!

Loads & loads of people have taken the time to mix, put together & send out CDs to you all, so lets give em some apreciation in the form of telling everyone who's CD youve enjoyed the most or been most inspired by or something!
Took all the CDs Ive received on holiday a few weeks ago an had a good listen. Think my favorite has to be SARGENTS! although it was mainly hardstyle bangin from start to finish & that last track had my brain twisted for hours where I'd heard it before

I do love all the CDs Ive recieved off you all though :D

i have only recieved one cd so far from paul nisbet, and it was a good hard trance work out scot project style, tight mixing and a good addition to my cd collection.

im waiting for a cd from karl54 (hurry up yer cunt!) (only joking mate)

and a hear corbzy's planning on doing a techno cd, although he spends so much time sqabbling in the general forum with carl, i wonder if he'll ever have the time to get round to it (shit, i guess im not going to be corbzys "recieving a cd" list.

from now on when a batch of cds is sent out why dont we set up a "cd review topic" in the relevant forum from which the genre of the cd belongs to, for eg a techno cd is mixed by mark eg, we then set up a topic in techno files, allowing everyone who recieved a cd from mark, to comment critically & provide a review, this way it provides some vital feedback for the dj who was kind enough to send the cds out in the first place, and giving time to listen carefully to a cd & writing a review of it can only benefit our knowledge/understanding of music (not to mention it would be quite enjoyable) it also ensures that all the time, effort, and financial outgoings of the dj do not go to waste.

    what does everyone else think?

i'll post this in the general section also :D

Nice one epidemic, yeh that last track i thought was suitable to end it..

I have had a couple cds, and thought they were all really good, but the ones that stuck out the most were epidemics, because the tracks were different to everyone elses and mixing was spot on, also was listening the other day and noticed the speed goes right up at the end of the cd, gets you going good and proper..
Also voorheez, because each mix seemed well planned an mixed very smoothly, the tracks are all good, also i thought the build up was quit clever..

I can't remeber all of them but the ones that have stuck out have been
    1) Voorheez - Very Proffesional
    2) Chazbloke's - Hard as ****ing nails
    3) Sarge J - The type of sound I love

oh and somebody did a really nice classics CD that was about 45 mins long but I can't remeber who (epidemic???)

my favourite so far was probably sean.demaine he done a classics cd back along the mixing was really tight, it had a good flow to the selection and it wasnt just kick and bass which makes a change. still play it know and again to.

and a shout to cascade to his cds are totally different , shows theres more sides to trance.
    softley, softley, catchy monkey.
