What reverb do you guys use to get that gated kick sound ?
I have a hard time getting a kick that sounds at par with the pros .
Maybe is because i'm not a pro. hahaha anyways

There's so many ways at the mo that ppl use. Personally i pick quite a hard kick to start with, then i speed it up a bit to ket that instant punch, then layer the same kick below it and slow that down abit to get the bottom end on it. Then i'll add reverb, and set the predelay so the verb comes offbeat. Then compress it to hell, and finally eq it.

The fruity reverb is pretty good mate, and waves gate and reverbs are also good!

with teh waves c4 is like a nice graph grab the low end and push it up, i have no attack and then move the sliders at teh top that have the dotted lines on this makes it harder or bassier
great compresor
us eit on basses, u can compltley manipulate ur sound
if god was manifested in a plugin he'd b c 4
