i remember not being overly fond of it. i wanted an hms type of set back in 1997 (being 15) where the bass was really hard. thats all i went for back then. then i listened to it more and then it was always in my walkman and then i shunned producer and co because i wanted wierd and wonderful noises like the sans pitie 2 record, heh

it's still the best set i ever heard and helped me go into some extremely strange worlds during my chemical experimentation years.

surely someone had the original tape in good nik and can upload it in cd quality fashion?

Hmmmm. I've got an old Freak cassette I picked up around 1997. Has the one track that samples PE by Suicide Squad that came out on Test. Also has a mix of some hard breakbeat stuff in it too. I could record the thing to the computer and share it. Not sure how hot the quality is anymore as it's been a bit beaten up with play over the years. I'll check it later.
