Stuff I write 126-136
Mixing 136-140
I prefer to play around 142ish, but I often have to adjust to the venue and audience. Bottom line, if I wanna groove, its gonna be in the low 130s, if I want people to start having near-heart attacks, 142+. When I produce, 99% of the time I like 138, not too fast, not too slow...

150+ :D
but I think it may be influenced by the fact that I live in an area over-run with hardcore, freeform and d'n'b so I tend to like my music a tad faster than most anyway. I like the energy a good set of off-the wall 150+bpm tech can create on the dancefloor, at least the people in my area seem to enjoy it and in the end, its all about getting the people to move![]()
i play all my old techno like evolutions and twisted vinyl at about 165 bpm but play the new stuff at about 145![]()
