How come Talent doesn't generate respect???

we love the music we make and play, we do it with the passion of ten people at once! and yet there are people in the scene whom are purely ownly there for reasons of ego....and the people whom are actually the lifeblood of the scene get disrespected by not giving them the respect they deserve!!!
of course there are exceptions to the rule. but surely goodness, talent , and hardwork will pay off in the end.

i believe that things are being simplified/refined musically these days to the point where we actually are getting close to capturing puriety, capturing raw emotion and attitude like never before....not everyone has the ability to do that!!! can't people see that.

I think that they are looking too much on some big names in electornic music and when they are buy a first equipment and learn "how to make a mix", they think that they are the same like some big name..thats the problem in my city...in city of 200.000 people is 70 DJs, can you belive...and there are only playing a few of that 70 registered...who knows how many have turntables and mixing and home and thinking they are big like NY city ?! NY City, yea :ppp

if you r honest lover of music u ll never get a respect from major public, but thats really irellevant. what it counts is a respect from your fellow ones, butt then again who cares...
if u want to be big learn how to scratch and dance and give 5 to ppl when u play. u can play really crappy music butt if they see u dancing then u r a BIG DJ.
in a world with that kind of public i d rather be hated by the most.
