    Default New laptop advice needed!

I am going to buy a laptop which has to have the following specs:

    1024RAM
    80GB HDD
Radeon X700 or equal graphics (GeForce or whatever is fine too, as long as it can handle the newest games)

I have been looking around a lot and Dell seems like a good one.. Though it costs like 1900€. What I find strange about it is that I can find a more powerful computer (e.g. Acer) for 60-70% of its price (1300€) . Is Dell super quality and Acer some Polish shit?

Or are there any other brand you would recommend? I have a Fujitsu Siemens laptop now which is good performance wise but I had it repaired 4 times in less than 2 years..

i'd say stay away from dell, they're horrible pc's, a nightmare to upgrade in the future too.

acer make some ok systems to be honest, cheap, but well built and seem reliable

Dell horrible?? I have only ever heard good things.
OK I go with that Acer then maybe... Real good price 1300€ for 100GB HDD, 1024RAM, RADEON X700 and top of the line AMD processor.
